8th gen unlocked
The i7 motherboard is categorised as a 7th generation board, but utilises Intel’s 8th generation CPU, meaning you’re able to maximise your unit’s performance thanks to the very best processors Intel has to offer.
The NUCs themselves already offer impressive credentials, but combining them with the i7 motherboard and 8th gen processors makes them a force to be reckoned with:
- Support for latest 8th Generation i7, i5 and i3 NUC motherboards
- 2.5” SSD/HDD Bay and Wi-Fi
- Single or Dual Additional LAN Ports – using our M.2 NIC Expansion Card
- Support for Windows 10
- Front USB 2.0, rear USB 3.0 ports
- Standalone or 3x rack-mounted in 1U space
- Support for DDR4 RAM
What’s next for NUC?
Since receiving Intel’s 7th gen NUCs, we’ve modified the units to enable our customers to add Dual HD-SDI input if required, and continue to innovate and bring new functionality and features to the table with our range of Rack and Mini PCs. We’re really looking forward to seeing the impact the i7 motherboard and Intel 8th gen could have on our units.
